#1 New York Times Bestselling Author, Abbi Glines, Announced as #UTOPiA2017 Featured Speaker

Utopia Announcements, Authors, For the fans, Speakers

AbbiGlinesWe could not be happier to announce that author, mother, and all around a**-kicker, Abbi Glines, will be joining us as a featured guest next June at #UTOPiA2017.

Abbi, an Alabama-based bestselling author of romance and young adult books, was actually at the very first UTOPiAcon way back in 2012. She was our very first “Author of the Year” at the 2012 UTOPiA Awards (called utopYA Awards back then), and she took home four of the trophies that night.

Her career has exploded since then. She penned the crazy hot and bestselling Rosemary Beach series and Sea Breeze series. There is a movie adaptation of WHILE IT LASTS in the works, and her most recent young adult book, UNDER THE LIGHTS, hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list.

Abbi, who has almost 30 books under her belt, will be joining us for a conversation on the main stage as part of our new convention programming called “The Dedication.” We will talk about everything from work-life balance, to the highs and lows of this crazy career path (both indie and traditional), to how to handle criticism, as well as how to navigate multiple audiences and the demands of writing.

Don’t miss this intimate look inside the world of Abbi Glines. She will also be signing books and hanging out with fans.

Abbi Glines is a #1 New York TimesUSA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of the Rosemary Beach, The Field Party, Sea Breeze, Vincent Boys, and Existence series. She never cooks unless baking during the Christmas holiday counts. She believes in ghosts and has a habit of asking people if their house is haunted before she goes in it. She drinks afternoon tea because she wants to be British but alas she was born in Alabama. When asked how many books she has written she has to stop and count on her fingers. When she’s not locked away writing, she is reading, shopping (major shoe and purse addiction), sneaking off to the movies alone, and listening to the drama in her teenagers lives while making mental notes on the good stuff to use later. Don’t judge.
