We have some great news! We have worked out EXCELLENT exhibitor space right in the hotel lobby! Here’s the catch, though — this exhibitor space will be available for FRIDAY ONLY. That means, you will only have one day to exhibit.
This exhibitor area will be called Area 51 1/2 (because the regular exhibitor space was dubbed Area 51). You will still be able to decorate your tables and be eligible for a prize in the utopYA 2014 “Out of this World” Exhibitor Contest.
Because we had a few instances of musical booths last year, we have implemented new policies and procedures this year. There will be no reselling of space to other authors or vendors. ALL SALES MUST GO THROUGH UTOPYA. It gets way too confusing, and with more people and more booths this year, this is non-negotiable.
We heard your requests for more time with the exhibitors — to have dedicated time to visit them. DONE. There will be two blocks of time on Friday, though the exhibitor halls will be open all day to visit whenever you want, not just during the dedicated times.
Please note: At this time we only have 15 tables available.
We will be selling WHOLE tables (six feet) for $200. Two chairs and wi-fi are included.
We will be selling 1/2 tables (three feet) with one chair and wi-fi included for $100.
Electricity is not guaranteed in the lobby. I suggest getting there and setting up early if you need to be near an outlet.
WHAT YOU GET:
If you buy 1/2 table, you get 1 chair = one Explorer-level ticket (if you already bought a ticket, we will refund the ticket).
If you buy a whole table, you get 2 chairs = two Explorer-level tickets (if you already bought a ticket, we will refund the ticket).

There are only 15 tables available. This is a first come, first served situation. If you know you want to be an exhibitor, do not wait. The tables will be gone.
You can request to be paired to share a table with a friend if that friend has also purchased 1/2 a table for FRIDAY ONLY. We will not hold any space. However, there may arise a situation where you will share a table with — gasp — a stranger. I hope you’ll see it as an opportunity to make a new friend and collaborate to kick butt for an Exhibitor Space prize.

THE FINE PRINT:
We will NOT hold space. Filling out the form does NOT secure space. Only payment secures space. You can receive a full refund up to 60 days from purchase date (unless April 30, 2014 comes first). You may receive 50% refund after 60 days of purchase date up till April 30, 2014. Absolutely NO refund will be given to anyone after April 30, 2014 for any reason. We have an extremely HIGH demand for exhibitor space, and the people we had to turn away because you purchased space may not be available if you decide you can’t be there after April 30th.
