Settlers Of Catan
Age: 8+ | Players: 3-4 | Time:70-110 Minutes
Players assume the role of settlers on the game board, each attempting to build and develop their settlement while trading and
acquiring resources. Players are rewarded points as their settlements grow; the first to reach a set number of points is the winner.
The Settlers of Catan was one of the first German-style board games to achieve popularity outside of Europe. Over 15 million games
in the Catan series have been sold, and the game has been translated into thirty languages from the original German. It has been
called "the board game of our time" by the Washington Post.
The game has rapidly become popular in part because its mechanics are relatively simple, while its dynamics are quite complex. The
game is well suited for family play, since at no point in the game is any player eliminated, and players who are behind can strive
towards goals that are within their reach.
Hidden in the Light of Day
A “Ghoul: Fatal Addiction” game from the World of Darkness
Someone is killing Kindred in the City. During the daylight, when they are most vulnerable, they are being staked and then burned or decapitated. At first it was merely transient vampires, loners, rather insignificant people but yesterday it was someone of real value.
The Prince and his council of Primogens are worried. Kindred need ghouls. Oh, they don't like to admit it and often their most important servants get ignored or abused, but the fact remains that without these "best of Seth's children", vampires would quickly fall to their hunger and their enemies. Discover what its like to be so very integral to and yet so very disenfranchised in the World of Darkness (WoD).
Can your ragtag ghoul group get along well enough to discover who is murdering your masters and your brothers/sisters in service before another death occurs? If you can't, how will you survive the upcoming night and the wrath of those whom you serve?
The Storyteller is a published author of 11 books and numerous short stories. She has run a WoD game for 15 years in Bloomington, Indiana.
Characters claimed on a first come basis, 5 female and 5 male characters available in service to 10 different clans. Each has unique abilities and skills with personalities you can develop. 4-10 players needed. Please be 16+ in age. No prior WoD experience needed. Dice, scratch paper and pencils provided as are cheat sheets for your character’s stats.

Take on the role of a canny fighter hacking through enemies with an enchanted sword, a powerful sorceress blessed with magic by the hint of demon blood in her veins, a wise cleric of gods benevolent or malign, a witty rogue ready to defuse even the deadliest of traps, or any of countless other heroes. The only limit is your imagination!
The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game has been designed with compatibility with previous editions in mind, so you'll be able to use your existing library of 3.5 products with minimal effort. Warhammer 40,000
Warhammer 40,000, the tabletop battlegame of the far future, allows you to wage war with armies of Citadel miniatures across miniature battlefields in the ultimate contest of strategy and skill. Each player is a commander who must choose his finest warriors, decide upon cunning battle plans and strategies and lead his army to victory or death. Games can vary in size from small skirmishes of just a few dozen models per side, to massive clashes with hundreds of miniatures.
So, what exactly is Warhammer 40,000?
In a nutshell, each player collects an army of Citadel miniatures then, using the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook as a guideline, they fight epic battles against their fellow generals. Dice (like you'd find in almost any board game) are used to determine success and failure: to decide whether a bolter shell hits its target, or whether a lascannon blasts through the armour of a tank. Each game is played, not on a regular 'board' but on a special gaming area where models are not confined to 'squares' but are free to move as their controller wishes. Because Warhammer 40,000 is not played on a set game board, tape measures or rulers are used to see how far a miniature can move - an agile Eldar jetbike can travel faster than a foot-slogging Imperial Guardsman after all.
That all might sound a little complicated, but most Warhammer 40,000 players find that after just a short game or two they've grasped the basics. Seasoned Warhammer 40,000 generals find that the rules become second nature, and they seldom need to refer to the rulebook at all.

Magic The Gathering
In a game of Magic, two or more players are engaged in a battle as powerful wizards called "planeswalkers". A player starts the game with twenty "life points" and loses when he or she is reduced to zero or less. Players lose life when they are dealt "damage" by being attacked with summoned creatures or when spells or other cards cause them to lose life directly. Although reducing an opponent to zero life is the most common way of ending a game, a player also loses if he or she must draw from an empty deck (called the "library" during the game), or if they have acquired 10 "poison counters." In addition, some cards specify other ways to win or lose the game.
Ascension
It is the Age of Man, a time without gods or magic. After a thousand years of peace and prosperity, the barrier that separates your world from the multiverse has been broken, and demonic forces threaten to destroy your home. But not all hope is lost: the benevolent gods of the Old Realms have also returned, bringing with them mighty heroes and powerful constructs that are yours to command. Only through your courage and leadership can the forces of light fight off the incoming hordes. Only by defeating the Fallen One can you save your world. Let the Ascension begin!
- Ascension is a fast-paced deckbuilding game designed by Magic Pro Tour champions Justin Gary, Rob Dougherty, and Brian Kibler.
- Enter a visionary fantasy world brought to life by the art of Eric Sabee.
- All the depth and replayability of a collectible card game in ONE box.
Carcassonne
The southern French city of Carcassonne is famous for its unique Roman and Medieval fortifications. In this clever tile laying game, the players develop the area around Carcassonne and deploy their followers on the roads, in the cities, in the cloisters, and in the fields. The skill of the players to develop the area will determine who is victorious. The rules are simple, no one is ever eliminated, and the play is fast. It received the Spiel des Jahres and the Deutscher Spiele Preis awards in 2001. In 2002 it was awarded the rets Spel Winner, Best Family Game.
Zombie Dice
Eat brains. Don't get shotgunned. You are a zombie. You want braaains. More brains than any of your zombie buddies. Zombie Dice is fast and easy for any zombie fan to learn, even non-gamers. The 13 custom dice are your victims. Push your luck to eat their brains, but stop rolling before the shotgun blasts end your turn! Two, four, eight or more can play. Each game takes 10 to 20 minutes, and can be taught in a single round.
Dominion
"You are a monarch, like your parents before you, a ruler of a small pleasant kingdom of rivers and evergreens. However, you have hopes and dreams! You want a bigger and more pleasant kingdom, with more rivers and a wider variety of trees. You want a Dominion! In all directions lie fiefs, freeholds, and fiefdoms. All are small bits of land, controlled by petty lords and verging on anarchy. You will bring civilization to these people, uniting them under your banner.
"But wait! It must be something in the air; several other monarchs have had the exact same idea. You must race to get as much of the unclaimed land as possible, fending them off along the way. To do this you will hire minions, construct buildings, spruce up your castle, and fill the coffers of your treasury."
Dominion is a designer card game created by Donald X. Vaccarino, and published by Rio Grande Games. The game was released at Spiel 2008 in multiple languages. It was voted the best game of the fair by the Fairplay polls with a rating of 1.75 from 147 votes. Within two months of its release, Dominion was one of the top ten games according to BoardGameGeek ratings. In 2009, it won the prestigious Spiel des Jahres and Deutscher Spiele Preis awards. It was one of five winning games in American Mensa's 2009 MindGame competition.

Munchkin
Go down in the dungeon. Kill everything you meet. Backstab your friends and steal their stuff. Grab the treasure and run. Admit it. You love it.
This award-winning card game, designed by Steve Jackson, captures the essence of the dungeon experience... with none of that role-playing stuff. You and your friends compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. And what magic items! Don the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield the Staff of Napalm... or maybe the Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. Start by slaughtering the Potted Plant and the Drooling Slime, and work your way up to the Plutonium Dragon... And it's illustrated by John Kovalic! Fast-playing and silly, Munchkin can reduce any role-playing group to hysteria. And, while they're laughing, you can steal their stuff.
Munchkin won the 2001 Origins Award for Best Traditional Card Game, and is itself a spin-off from The Munchkin's Guide to Powergaming, a gaming humor book that also won an Origins Award in 2000.

Pandemic
You are specialists at the CDC/Atlanta where you watch several virulent diseases break out simultaneously all over the world. The team mission is to prevent a worldwide pandemic outbreak, treating hot spots while researching cures for each of the four plagues before they get out of hand.
Players must plan their strategy to mesh their specialists' strengths before the diseases overwhelm the world. For example, the Operations Expert can build research stations which are needed to find cures for the diseases. The Scientist needs only 4 cards of a particular disease to cure it instead of the normal 5. But the diseases are breaking out fast and time is running out: the team must try to stem the tide of infection in diseased areas while developing cures. If disease spreads uncontrolled, the players all lose. If they can cure all four diseases, they win. In 2009 it was awarded the BoardGameGeek Golden Geek Family Game Winner, Boardgames Australia Awards Best International Game and the Origins Awards Board Game of the Year.

Ticket To Ride
With elegantly simple gameplay, Ticket to Ride can be learned in 3 minutes, while providing players with intense strategic and tactical decisions every turn. Players collect cards of various types of train cars they then use to claim railway routes in North America. The longer the routes, the more points they earn. Additional points come to those who fulfill Destination Tickets - goal cards that connect distant cities; and to the player who builds the longest continuous route.
Since its introduction and numerous subsequent awards, Ticket to Ride has become the epitome of a "gateway game" -- simple enough to be taught in a few minutes, and with enough action and tension to keep new players involved and in the game for the duration.
Ticket to Ride won the 2004 Spiel des Jahres, the Origins Award for Best Board Game of 2004 and the 2005 Diana Jones award and As d'Or, and came 2nd in the Schweizer Spielepreis for Family Games. Ticket to Ride: Europe won the 2005 International Gamers Award.
