Talk and Screening with Bestselling Children’s Book Author and Hulu Animations Creator, Daniel Errico, Announced for #UTOPiA2017

DSC_0362 copy 2In an ongoing commitment to expand UTOPiAcon programming to include more diversity and inclusion, we are ecstatic to announce that bestselling children’s book author, Daniel Errico, will be a featured guest at #UTOPiA2017.

Animations based on Errico’s works, The Bravest Knight Who Ever Lived and Rosaline, are available on Hulu as the first to star an openly gay and lesbian hero and heroine, respectively. He is also the founder of Pajama Publishing, and the website, providing free stories to kids, parents, and teachers around the globe.

Founded in 2008, operates on the principle that children’s development is paramount. Their mission is to offer traditional, meaningful storytelling to every child, parent, or teacher around the globe with access to the internet, for free.

A former mechanical engineer, Daniel Errico left his career at an investment bank to create He has been featured in Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Time, Upworthy, Freakonomics, Entertainment Weekly Radio, and Sirius XM.

Errico will not only give a talk about the importance of LGBT role models in youth-focused entertainment, but he will also be screening one of his projects, and signing his books for UTOPiAcon attendees.
